Thriving Cambodia Helps Epson Sales Jump

Posted Date 02/15/18

A thriving Cambodia economy has helped Epson increase its sales in the Southeast Asian country substantially, especially in the last two years. Cambodia is a priority market for the Japanese electronics maker, said the company’s general manager in Thailand, Yunyong Muneemongkoltorn, in an interview for Khmer Times.

Epson focuses on the needs of its clients first and adding value to their businesses, Yunyong said, noting that value-adding is particularly important for Epson. Partnerships with key players in the printing industry are also essential in the company’s growth strategy, as well as a proper communications strategy aimed at bringing potential customers closer.

The executive noted that inkjet printers are doing much better than laser devices in the region and that they are likely to remain the bestselling printing tech there.
