10 Mobile Printing Apps to Consider

Mobile printing has been gaining more and more attention as the traditional office gradually gives way to more flexible, on-the-go arrangements. Apps, on the other hand, have been in the spotlight for a while now because of various attractive functions that, generally, make life easier. Here are 10 mobile printing apps worth considering.

1. Samsung Mobile Print App 1.03.05 – this app, which supports Android 2.1 and later versions, and iOS 3.2 and later versions, is compatible with all network- compatible Samsung printers and also doubles as a PDF, JPG and PNG scanner. It doesn’t need any separate drivers or configurations, just install it and it will get to work.

2. Xerox Mobile Print – This app supports Android, iOS, and Windows 8 for tablets and laptops and can work with any device that can be used to send an email. You can just email the print job to your printer or printers.

3. Canon Print Business – This app includes compatibility with clouds such as Dropbox and Google Drive, plus integration with iCloud. It supports iOS and Android and allows users to access any document in these clouds and print

it from there.
4. Epson iPrint – Compatible with iOS 7 and higher and Android 4.0 and higher, this app allows the user to print documents either to a network- connected printer or a standalone one, just by entering its IP. The app also provides access to Evernote, Google Drive, Dropbox, Box.net, and Microsoft SkyDrive. Also, the app is naturally compatible with Epson Connect- supporting printers.

5. Brother iPrint&Scan – This app supports Android and iOS devices, and Windows Phone 7 and 8. It can work with any network-connected Brother printer via Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, NFC and Google Cloud Print. An added feature is the ability to change the scale and orientation of the document to be printed through the app.

6. Dell Document Hub – The advantage of this app is that it allows single-login access to a range of cloud services, such as Evernote and Dropbox. It works with Android 4.1 and newer, iOS 7.0 and newer, and Windows 8.1 and newer.

7. HP ePrint – This app supports iOS 7.0 and newer devices, and Android 4.0 and newer devices, and you can print from

any device as long as it’s on the same local Wi-Fi as the printer you are going to use. Printing from the cloud, however, is only available for iOS device users.

8. PrinterOn – This second Samsung app is compatible with iOS 7.0 and later versions and Android 4.0 and later. It is very versatile, meaning you can use not just Samsung printers but any other printer and it doesn’t even have to be connected to a network you are using. As long as a printer is PrinterOn-enabled, it will do the job.

9. Breezy – Another versatile app, Breeze is compatible with iOS, Android, and Blackberry devices and connects to any printer that’s part of its network, the Breezy Partner Network. You can check the nearest one via a GPS. iOS users can also access Apple AirPrint.

10. Google Cloud Print – This app only works with Android devices for an obvious reason and it is compatible with all of them. The printer needs to be connected to Google Cloud. The app also works in tandem with other apps to send documents to Cloud Print and have them done.
